SplashKits mobile events services, offers a variety of social and private art activities and supplies for event planners, party hosts, activity coordinators and more. Whether you are a local or out of our area, we have something for you! We specialize in private paint events such as kids painting parties, adult paint night, painting for a cause, and many other special occasions. Simply show up with a smile and leave the rest to us as we provide everything you need to create a unique painting experience!

What To Expect

Our team members are passionate about helping our painters participate confidently, inspiring creativity that exists in all of us. We believe that art is an expression of ones’ self, embrace interpretation and help our artists create masterpieces as unique as they are. No experience necessary to have a good time! Whether we are instructing at a remote location of your choosing such as a home, park, backyard setting or here in our studio, we make your enjoyment our mission!

Each painter receives an 8 x 10 inch stretched white canvas, pre-sketched with your favorite design (some designs do not require sketching) and a variety of fun painting supplies as we guide you step-by-step through the activity. Custom paint designs are available upon request and can coordinate with any party theme. Depending on the design and setting, the painting activity can last anywhere from 1-3 hours. By the end of the event, each painter will take home their own masterpiece!

How it Works

  • For group events or bulk orders, please contact us at (510) 952-9194 or email us at info@splashkits.com so we may check our availability.
  • An estimate will be emailed with minimum or anticipated counts. Edits can be made.
  • An invoice will be emailed once the estimate is approved and our availability is confirmed. PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover & Amex Accepted.
  • A receipt of payment and preparation tips will be sent once payment has been received.
  • If shipping, order is typically prepped and shipped within 5 business days.
  • If mobile event, we will call you a few days prior to your event to confirm your final count as we understand RSVP's can vary. An invoice will be sent for any additional kits or supplies requested.
  • For mobile events, your order will arrive with your instructor 20-30 minutes prior to the start of your activity for set-up.
  • The activity will start promptly at the scheduled start time and for up to 2 hours.
  • The final 30 minutes will be for instructor clean up of supplies returning with us. Canvases, brushes and paints per kit and any other products purchased will be rinsed as needed and gathered for your guests to take home. This is a great time for group photos with masterpieces.

Mobile Paint Party with Instructor

  • Party Package (Ages 4 and up and subject to availability)
    • $25.99 plus tax per painter (minimum 10 painters)
    • 10% discount with purchase of 15 or more kits 
    • 1 to 2-hour guided activity depending on the design you choose
    • 8 x 10 inch canvas presketched with your favorite design (some designs do not require sketch)
    • $100 instructor fee (Includes 20-30 min set up, 1-2 hour activity, 20-30 min clean up)
    • Additional time can be added to your event based on availability. ($50.00 for each additional 30 min)
    • These kits make great party favors with purchase of gift bag (Gift bag sold separately or self provided)
    • Accessories such as glitter, metallic paints, aprons, tabletop painting easels and more available for purchase and rental
    • Customer provided venue: Activity location can be anywhere suitable for painting such as home, yard, park, garage, hall, restaurant, etc. If outdoors, please consider weather conditions.
    • Tables and chairs available for rent if not provided by your venue. For larger events, we can help connect you with local event and/or food supply vendors.

Do-It-Yourself Paint Party (without instructor)

    • Priced per kit: $25.99 plus tax (Any quantity 1 or more may be purchased)
    • 10% Discount with purchase of 15 or more kits.
    • 3-4 days’ notice required (Rushed orders available when time and supplies permit)
    • 8 x 10 inch canvas presketched with your favorite design (some designs do not require sketch)
    • Paints & brushes included
    • Easy to follow, step-by-step, do-it-yourself digital instructions or we can print a copy for you for a $5 fee
    • Digital design sample for painter each to use as reference. (Can also be included in print fee with instructions)
    • Average paint duration depending on design can be anywhere from 1-3 hours
    • These make great party favors with purchase of gift bag (Gift bag sold separately or can be self provided)
    • Add on’s such as glitter and metallic paints available for purchase
    • Accessories such as aprons, tabletop painting easels, canvas totes and more, available for purchase and rental (rentals for locals only)
    • Party supplies such as party favors, gift bags, invitations, banners and more available for purchase upon request
    • Shipping and order pick up available (Pick-ups by appointment only for San Francisco Bay Area only, standard USPS shipping rates)

Good to Know Info

  • We encourage picture taking and sharing to capture memories
  • Dress comfortably and wear clothes that you do not mind getting paint on.
  • Food such as light snacks and beverages are welcome during activity
  • Party reservations must be booked a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to ensure we have supplies and sufficient preparation time. Please contact us in the case your event is sooner than that as there is a good chance we may be able to accommodate your event.
  • Availability subject to change prior to booking as we are working with multiple clients interested in the same date/time.
  • All sessions and parties require payment in full upon booking to reserve your supplies and time slot.
  • Supplies are consumed in preparation and availability closes for other potential customers upon your booking. For this reason, we do not offer any refunds.
  • For the safety of ourselves, our painters and integrity of our products and services, we do not conduct activities in extreme conditions such as high heat, rain and other “unsafe” or "unsuitable" circumstances. Customer is responsible for providing suitable arrangements for mobile party activity. We do not offer refunds where the customer does not meet these requirements upon arrival due to loss of our time and products.
  • Parties begin promptly at the scheduled time. We recommend having your guests arrive 45-60 minutes prior to activity start time to allow for greeting, social and potential late arrivals.
  • If you, a guest or the venue have special needs, allergies or requirements, please contact us prior to booking
  • Host must remain on site during entire duration of event and is responsible for all guests and any damages to supplies during activity and reservation.
